Grass fed Ground Beef Recipe

Easy One-Skillet Grass-Fed Beef and Bean Dinner

Perfect for Busy Weeknights – Tasty, Savory, and Ideal with Cornbread or Fries...even Macaroni

Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins Total Time: 45 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Tyner Pond Farm grass-fed ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup medium salsa (like Pace®)
  • ½ tablespoon Greek seasoning (such as Cavender's®)
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • 1 (15 ounce) can Southwestern-style beans, undrained

Directions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook and stir the grass-fed beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Tyner Pond Farm's beef will cook up beautifully with less fat and more flavor.
  3. Add onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the onion is softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, which should take about a minute.
  5. Mix in the salsa, Greek seasoning, pepper, and salt. Cook and stir everything together for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the beans. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Let it simmer until it reaches your desired thickness, about 20 minutes. You can add a bit of water if the sauce gets too thick.

Serving Suggestion:

This dish goes great with a side of cornbread or home fries. You can use frozen French fries as a quick and easy alternative. The hearty flavors of the grass-fed beef blend wonderfully with the beans and spices, creating a satisfying meal perfect for any busy weeknight.

Note:

Using Tyner Pond Farm's grass-fed ground beef not only adds a depth of flavor to this dish but also ensures you're enjoying high-quality, sustainably raised beef. It's a simple meal that doesn't skimp on taste or quality!
