Ingredients:
- 1 lb. grass-fed ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup ketchup
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, egg, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray. Transfer the meat mixture to the pan and shape into a loaf.
- Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
