  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Season the roast: Rub the chuck roast with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
