How Local Food Delivery Brings the Farm to Your Door

When our family started Tyner Pond Farm, we wanted to make it easier for people to eat real food again — not industrial food, not something trucked in from across the country. For us, “local” means you can trace the food back to the pasture it came from.

That’s why we built our own delivery system. Every week, our team brings grassfed beef, pasture-raised chicken, and local eggs directly from the farm to homes all across Central Indiana. There’s no warehouse in between — just our own crew and a van full of food we raised ourselves or sourced from nearby farms we know.

Why Delivery Matters

For a lot of families, finding real food used to mean driving out to a farm or waiting for a weekend market. We wanted to change that. By handling delivery ourselves, we make it as easy to buy directly from a farmer as it is to order from a store — without losing the connection to where your food comes from.

It’s a small shift that makes a big difference. The shorter the distance between farm and table, the fresher the food and the more money stays in the local community.

How It Works

It’s simple. You shop online at TynerPondFarm.com, choose the cuts or bundles you want, and pick a delivery day. Our team packs your order at the farm and drives it straight to your home — cold, fresh, and ready for the fridge or freezer.

We deliver free across Central Indiana, including Indianapolis, Greenfield, Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, McCordsville, and lots of other surrounding towns. No subscriptions, and no delivery fees. Just real food from local farms.

More Than Convenience

I see our delivery system as part of a bigger idea: rebuilding a local food network. When people buy food grown close to home, they support small farms, reduce waste, and help keep land in agriculture instead of development. It’s a practical way to strengthen the local economy and restore trust in food again.

FAQs

Q: Where do you deliver?
A: We deliver free to homes throughout Central Indiana — including Indianapolis, Greenfield, Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, and nearby towns.

Q: Is there a minimum order size?
A: Yes. Our minimum order for free home delivery is only $63. That helps us keep our delivery system efficient while still bringing food directly from the farm to your door.

Q: How do you keep the food cold?
A: Everything leaves our farm packed in insulated boxes with frozen gel packs. It stays cold until you bring it inside.

Q: What makes your delivery different from grocery delivery?
A: You’re not buying from a warehouse or distributor. The food comes directly from the farm where it was raised — by people you can meet and visit.
