Tyner pond Farm Indiana free Delivery in a red bag on a front porch

Skip the Grocery Store: How Our Local Farm Delivery Works

Most people want to eat better, but finding good local food isn’t always simple. Farmers markets are seasonal, grocery stores rely on national distributors, and “local” labels often travel hundreds of miles through the industrial system before they reach a shelf.

We wanted to make things easier.

At Tyner Pond Farm, we raise grass-fed beef and pasture-raised chicken and turkey, and we work with trusted Indiana farms for pork, eggs, and raw dairy. Then we deliver everything—ourselves—straight to your door.

Local Food, Delivered Simply

We deliver throughout Central Indiana every week. When you order from us, you’re not buying from a warehouse or a national shipping company. You’re buying directly from a local farm.

Most of our meats are processed and frozen at peak quality. Freezing keeps food safe and stable without preservatives, and it allows us to deliver consistently without the long storage or handling you find in grocery distribution. Your order arrives frozen and ready for the freezer or fridge.

Raw milk is the only exception. It’s bottled at Kemps Organic Dairy and delivered the same day it’s milked.

Why Delivery Fits Local Food

“Local food” used to mean driving across town to a farmers market and hoping for the right cuts. Delivery lets us make local food practical for real families with real schedules.

By delivering direct, we can:

  • Keep prices steady by avoiding globalization

  • Reduce waste and overproduction

  • Support small processors and local jobs

  • Build real relationships with customers

When you open your cooler and see a Tyner Pond Farm label, you’re getting food raised nearby—not something shipped across the country in a box.

Supporting Local Agriculture

Buying from local farms isn’t just about taste. It strengthens the entire regional food system. Every order supports:

  • Indiana farmers

  • Small processors

  • Local delivery drivers

  • A healthier rural economy

Your purchase keeps more food dollars circulating close to home.

Final Thought

Good food shouldn’t require extra errands or weekend juggling. It should be simple to get—and simple to trust.

We’re proud to make that possible for families across Central Indiana, one delivery at a time.
