Happy Birthday, Amy
Today is Amy’s birthday. As she welcomes a homeschool group to the farm, we’re celebrating her and everything she contributes.
Today is Amy’s birthday, and we want to take a little space here to share how grateful we are for everything she contributes to Tyner Pond Farm.
We talk a lot about the food we raise. We talk about the animals, the pasture, and the choices we make. But a farm is people, too. Amy is such an important part of this place, and we don’t want her birthday to pass without saying that.
Today, she’s sharing the farm with a homeschool group from around Indianapolis. Most of the families have already been customers. They know us through the food they bring home, and now they’re spending some time here, seeing the place it comes from.
Having these families here is a good reminder that the connection between a farm and its customers isn’t just a transaction. There are people on both sides of it. Getting together like this makes that connection a little more real.
But this isn’t really a post about a farm tour. It’s a birthday wish.
Amy, thank you for everything you contribute to this farm and to the people around you. Thank you for sharing your time with these families today. What you do matters, and we’re grateful to have you as such an important part of our farm family.
Sometimes we get busy talking about what’s next and don’t spend enough time appreciating the people right here with us. Today, we want to do that.
We’re lucky to have you, Amy. Happy birthday. We love you.
Please join us in wishing Amy a wonderful birthday.
Chris and our farm family
