How to Grill A Sirloin Tip Roast: Inexpensive, Juicy and Tender

Grilled Sirloin Tip Roast

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 lb sirloin tip roast
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Mix the coarse salt, red pepper flakes, ground paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, rosemary, Italian seasoning, and olive oil to create a wet rub.
  2. Rub the mixture onto both sides of the roast and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to 350°F.
  4. Place the roast on the grill away from direct flame. Shut the lid and cook for about 15-20 minutes, then turn it over.
  5. Continue to cover and cook for another 10 minutes, then baste with butter on both sides.
  6. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 130-135°F.
  7. Remove from the grill, cover with tin foil, and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  8. Slice thin against the grain and serve with your favorite summer sides like grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
