Description
These bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs come from chickens raised entirely on pasture at our farm in Greenfield, Indiana. We move them daily to fresh grass in mobile shelters — no confinement, no antibiotics, no bleach dips.
Thighs are one of the richest, most flavorful cuts on the bird. The fat is natural — not watery — and the skin crisps beautifully when roasted, grilled, or seared. This is real chicken, the way it used to be.
Raised outdoors, processed in small batches, vacuum-sealed, and frozen for freshness.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What makes these thighs different from store-bought chicken?
They come from birds that lived outdoors and moved every day. The fat is clean and the meat is more flavorful because the birds actually lived like chickens.
Q: Are these thighs boneless?
No. These are bone-in, skin-on thighs — ideal for roasting or grilling.
Q: Are the chickens raised indoors at any point?
Only during the brooder stage (first 2–3 weeks), where they stay warm and safe. After that, they live full-time outdoors on pasture, moved daily to fresh grass.
Q: Are these vacuum-sealed and frozen?
Yes. We seal them in small packs and freeze them immediately after processing.
