Description
These boneless, skinless chicken breasts come from birds raised entirely outdoors on pasture — moved daily to fresh grass in open-bottomed shelters. Our chickens are never confined, never given antibiotics, and never washed in chlorine or preservatives after processing.
This isn’t industrial chicken. The texture is firmer, the flavor is fuller, and the water content is lower — because these birds actually move. You’ll notice the difference the first time you cook them.
Raised here in Greenfield, Indiana and processed in small batches. Vacuum-sealed and frozen for freshness.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do these chicken breasts cook differently than store-bought?
They have lower water content and were raised on pasture, not in confinement. That means better texture, less shrinkage, and more real flavor.
Q: Are the chickens raised indoors at any point?
Yes, for the first couple of weeks. Day-old chicks are kept in a warm, clean brooder to keep them safe until they’re strong enough to handle weather and pasture rotation. After that, they live full-time outdoors in open-bottom shelters moved daily to fresh grass.
Q: Are these breasts injected with anything?
No. They are simply cut, vacuum-sealed, and frozen. No preservatives, no added moisture, and no chlorine rinse.
Q: Are they individually packaged?
Yes. We vacuum-seal them in small, convenient portions and freeze them immediately after processing.
