Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of beef chunks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine (or beef broth)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef chunks and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the beef chunks from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Deglaze the skillet with red wine (or beef broth), scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the liquid is reduced by half, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the butter, garlic, and thyme to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Add the beef chunks back to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is heated through.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • Use a good quality grassfed beef for the best flavor.
  • If you don’t have red wine, you can substitute beef broth.
  • Add other vegetables to the recipe, such as mushrooms, onions, or peppers.
  • Serve the Steak Bites over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
