Tyner Pond Farm Chili with Corn Bread and Cheddar Cheese
This hearty chili is packed with flavor from the combination of ground beef and chorizo, and is made even more satisfying with the addition of beans. It’s easy to make and can be on your dinner table in under an hour. Perfect for a family dinner or for meal prepping.
Here is our TPF Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground chorizo
- 2 cans of beans (pinto, kidney, or black beans), drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 2 cups of beef broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions or cilantro
Instructions:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef and chorizo over medium heat until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and sautΓ© until softened.
- Stir in the canned tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the drained and rinsed beans to the pot and stir until well combined.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the chili simmer for at least 30 minutes, or until the flavors have melded together and the chili has thickened.

Homemade Chili with Beans, Grassfed Beef and Tyner Pond Farm chorizo
Serve the chili in bowls and top with any optional toppings you desire and Enjoy!
