Ingredients

  • 1 Tyner Pond Farm 4 oz. local pork patty
  • 1 sesame seed burger bun
  • 1 slice fresh pineapple
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1 leaf romaine lettuce
  • 1 slice tomato
  • 1 slice red onion
  • 1-2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tbsp BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Grill the Pineapple
Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the pineapple slice for 2-3 minutes on each side until it has a light char and caramelization. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Pork Patty
On the same grill or in a skillet, cook the Tyner Pond Farm pork patty over medium heat. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. In the final minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty to melt.
  3. Prepare the Bun
While the patty is cooking, lightly toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster.
  4. Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Place the cooked pork patty with melted cheese on top. Add the grilled pineapple slice, followed by the crispy bacon.
  5. Add Fresh Ingredients
Layer on a leaf of romaine lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a slice of red onion. Drizzle with BBQ sauce for an extra kick.
  6. Finish and Serve
Top with the other half of the bun. Serve with a side of fries or your favorite side dish.

Enjoy your Hawaiian Style Pork Burger, featuring Tyner Pond Farm’s local pork patty and a perfect blend of savory, sweet, and smoky flavors.
