Garlic Honey Pork Chops Recipe

  • 4 boneless pork chops (Tyner Pond Farm chops recommended)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Optional: 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)
Optional garnish: Chopped parsley or green onions

Garlic Honey Pork Chop Instructions

Season the Pork Chops: Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Cook the Pork Chops:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked to your desired level of doneness. An internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) is recommended for pork chops.
  3. Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Honey Sauce:

  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Cook the sauce for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce is slightly reduced and thickened.

Combine and Serve:

Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them with the garlic honey sauce.
Cook together for another minute, ensuring the pork chops are well coated and heated through.
Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.

Serving Suggestions: Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Enjoy your delicious Garlic Honey Pork Chops! The combination of sweet honey and rich garlic makes for a delightful and satisfying meal.
