Tyner Pond Farm Butter Chicken with Drumsticks

The Origin of Butter Chicken.

Butter chicken, also known as murgh makhani, is a popular dish from the Indian subcontinent, particularly in North India. The dish is said to have been created by a chef named Kundan Lal Gujral, who operated a restaurant in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan in the 1930s. The story goes that Gujral came up with the dish as a way to use up more inexpensive parts of the chicken, which was often difficult to sell.(same with Tyner Pond Farm) He created a rich, creamy tomato-based sauce to serve with the chicken, and the dish was an instant hit.

So, let’s get started and enjoy the perfect combination of Indian flavors and delicious Pasture Raised Chicken Drumsticks.
